There is one crematorium operating in Belarus. It was opened in Minsk in 1986 near the Northern Cemetery.

The crematorium in Minsk has three buildings, and the Northern Cemetery area additionally features walls of an open columbarium. Since the beginning of the crematorium's operation, over 160 thousand cremations have been performed.

To have a deceased person's body cremated, a complete set of documents must be submitted:

Declaration of will from the deceased or their relatives
Death certificate
Identity document of the deceased
Information about implants possessed by the deceased
